PM-Kisan Portal

The centre on February 07, 2019 launched a dedicated portal for PM-KISAN scheme. The portal lists detailed guidelines specifying exclusion of certain categories of non-eligible landholder farmer families and allocating specific roles to different agencies for implementing this ambitious programme for around 12 crores small and marginal farmers.

• The scheme is meant for families of small and marginal farmers having less than 5 acres of land.
• Small & Marginal Landholder Farmer’s Family: A family comprising husband, wife & minor children who collectively own cultivable land less than 5 acres as per land records of the state/UT concerned.
