On 27thJanuary, 2023, Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways inaugurated the National Logistics Portal (marine) in New Delhi.
Objectives: To make India one of the most cost effective plus competitive countries in terms of carrying international trade.
Expected Impact on Logistic Ecosystem: Promoting Efficiency and Growth of Logistic Sector: The portal will help to achieve faster, easier and more competitive offerings of services to promote the growth of the logistics sector and to provide a seamless end-to-end logistic service coverage thereby improving trade across the country.
