It is a project launched by the Indian Bureau of Mines in collaboration with National Remote Sensing Centre (NRSC) and Department of Space for monitoring of mining activity through the satellites.
Sudoor Drishti initiative includes checking and validation of the consistency of different Geo Positioning System points collected as part of lease boundary survey programme of selected group of mines.
