Appellate Tribunal for Foreign Exchange (ATFE)

It was established in 1999 as per section 18 of the Foreign Exchange Management Act, 1999.

• The sole function of the tribunal is to hear appeals against the orders passed by the Adjudicating Authorities and the Special Director under the Act.
