E-CPMP (Electronic Coal Projects Monitoring Portal)

The Union Ministry of Coal launched the e-CPMP (Electronic Coal Projects Monitoring Portal) on 26th March 2015 for tracking projects that entail an investment related to coal. It has been developed to fast track infrastructure investment stalled projects related to Coal Ministry. The portal has been developed by National Informatics Centre (NIC).

  • This system has been designed in such a way that it will enhance the efficiency, bring transparency, boost the investor confidence, revive the investment cycle, eliminate the human interaction, and improve the communication between industries.
  • The portal improved the communication between B2G (Business to Government), G2G (Government to Government) and G2B (Government to Business) by automating work processes, removing human interaction and timely disposal of important issues.
  • The portal also provides for various Graphical Analysis and Reporting functionalities related to coal projects.
