India BPO Promotion Scheme (IBPS)

The India BPO Promotion Scheme (IBPS) was initiated under Digital India Programme, to incentivize BPO/ITES Operations across the country. The scheme excludes certain Cities and the States in North East Region (NER), for creation of employment opportunities for the youths and growth of IT-ITES Industry.

• Because, North East BPO Promotion Scheme (NEBPS) was also launched separately with the same goal. The target was set to train several BPO trainees by March 2019.
