World Investment Report is published by the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD).
In its 2019 report, it mentions that India received foreign direct investments worth $42 billion in 2018, helped by robust inflows in manufacturing, communication and financial services.
India attracted over 77% of the total foreign direct investments that came to the South Asian region.
