Extension of PM Kisan Sampada Yojana

On 7^th February, 2022, the government approved the continuation of Pradhan Mantri Kisan Sampada Yojana (PMKSY) Scheme till 31st March, 2026. The Scheme is being implemented by the Ministry of Food Processing Industries (MOFPI). The scheme would impact in the following ways:

• Modern Infrastructure: It would result in the development of modern infrastructure and effective supply chain management.
• Doubling Farmer’s Income
• Employment: It creates extensive employment opportunities, especially in rural areas.
• Reducing Agricultural Wastage: It helps reduce agricultural produce wastage, increases processing level, makes available convenient and safe processed foods at an affordable price.
