Nanotechnology Initiative Division

The Nanotechnology Initiatives Division of Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) focuses on development of an eco-system for semiconductor manufacturing in India through cutting edge research in nano-electronics, developing products/ devices for meeting the societal requirements in the country and creating world class fabrication facilities at Nano level.

• Major Nanoelectronics Centres of international standards have been established at premier institutes in the country like at IISc Bengaluru to take the basic R&D outcomes to the prototype and then to manufacture Nano devices and systems for the social benefits.
