Union List (7th Schedule) - Preventive detention for reasons connected with Defence, Foreign Affairs, or the security of India.
Article 51 (A) - The State shall endeavour to promote international peace and security.
Article 51A (c) - It shall be the duty of every citizen of India to uphold and protect the sovereignty, unity and integrity of India.
Article 352 - If the security of India or of any part of the territory thereof is threatened, whether by war or external aggression (external emergency) or armed rebellion (internal emergency), the President can declare a national emergency.
