The Rule of Law Index released by World Justice Project. India was ranked 77 out of 140 countries and jurisdictions in 2022.
The Index ranks the countries based on scores ranging from 0 to 1, with 1 indicating the strongest adherence to the rule of Law.
Parameters under the Index
Rankings: Denmark has topped the index with a score of 0.90, followed by Norway (0.89), Finland (0.87) and Sweden (0.86). India was ranked at 77th position with a score of 0.50.
