Task Force on Agriculture Development

A Task Force on Agriculture Development was constituted under the chairmanship of Vice Chairman, NITI Aayog to coordinate and develop synergy with Central Ministries and State Government task forces and recommend strategies for reinvigorating agriculture in all its aspects.

Significance

• It will promote cooperation among states and boost sustainable agriculture development. Rural development will be promoted, increasing farmer’s income, reduce poverty and improving standard of living.
