Bhuvan

Bhuvan is ISRO’s Geo-portal which is providing visualisation services and Earth observation data to users in a public domain. It is a web based utility which allows users to explore a set of map based content prepared by Indian Space Research Organisation.

• Bhuvan has since its inception in 2009 enabled Indian government to host public geospatial data as information layers for visualisation and public consumption. The content which the utility serves is mostly restricted to Indian boundaries and is offered in 4 regional languages.
• Presently, more than 6000 map services offered by Bhuvan are being used under various applications.
