Bombay Natural History Society (BNHS)

It is a Pan-India Non-governmental organization formed in 1883 working in environmental conservation and research.

• Mission: Conservation of Nature, primarily Biological Diversity through action based on Research, Education and Public Awareness.
• It has been designated as a ‘Scientific and Industrial Research Organization’ by Department of Science and Technology.
• It is the partner of BirdLife International in India.
