It was launched in 2007 with the objective of capacitating the adolescent girls between 11 to 18 years of age by training and encouraging them so that they may be able to actively contribute in health and development of their family and community.
Under the scheme an annual amount of Rs.1.10 lac has been provided for each Child Development project.
