The Scheme has been approved with a total outlay of 150 crore @ 50 crore per annum. Under the scheme funds are provided to the CAPFs/Central agencies for hiring of helicopters by CRPF, payment of bills pertaining to air-lift provided by Indian Air Force for counter LWE operations, and for infrastructure support to CAPFs.
