The Union Government, on February 07, 2019 launched a dedicated portal for PM-KISAN scheme.
The portal lists detailed guidelines specifying exclusion of certain categories of non-eligible landholder farmer families and allocating specific roles to different agencies for implementing this ambitious programme for around 12 crore small and marginal farmers.
The scheme is meant for families of small and marginal farmers having less than 5 acres of land.
Small & Marginal Landholder Farmer’s Family: A family comprising husband, wife & minor children who collectively own cultivable land less than 5 acres as per land records of the state/UT concerned.
