Ease of Doing Business Report 2020

On 24th October, 2019, the World Bank released the Ease of Doing Business Report (EoDB) 2020.

Key Findings of the Report

  • India has improved its score in the World Bank’s global Ease of Doing Business rankings, rising 14 places up to 63 out of 190 countries on the back of “sustained business reforms”. It was placed at 77th position in 2018. India’s score improved from 67.23 (2019) to 71.0 (2020).
  • New Zealand retained its 1st position whereas Somalia was ranked at 190th spot by EoDB 2020 Report.
