13th South Asian Games
- The 2019 South Asian Games were held in Nepal. The Dasarath Stadium hosted the opening and closing ceremonies.
- In the 13th SAG campaign India topped the medal tally and also got highest ever medals in this event since its participation - 312 (174 gold, 93 silver and 45 bronze).
- Out of the seven participating countries - (India, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Maldives and Bhutan), Nepal and Sri Lanka finished second and third respectively.
- The official mascot of the games was a pair of blackbucks (Krishnashar).
