Company Law Committee Report
On 18th November, 2019, the Company Law Committee submitted its report to the Finance Ministry. The committee was constituted by the Ministry of Corporate Affairs in September, 2019, under the chairmanship of Corporate Affairs Secretary InjetiSrinivas to further decriminalise the provisions of the Companies Act, 2013.
Objectives
- To promote ease of Living in the country by providing Ease of Doing Business to law abiding corporate.
- To foster improved corporate compliance for stakeholders at large.
- To address emerging issues having impact on the working of corporates in the country.
