India Celebrates 70 years of Adoption of the Constitution
The 70th anniversary of the adoption of the Constitution of India, was celebrated with a joint session of both the houses of the parliament. Recently RajyaSabha also observed its 250th session on 18th November.
Highlights
- The government celebrated the Constitution Day on 26th November in the Central Hall of Parliament where the Constitution was adopted by the Constituent Assembly.
- During his speech, Prime Minister urged the citizens to deliberate on duties as well, because we cannot preserve our rights without fulfilling our responsibilities.
