India Attended 20th SCO Summit
- The 20th Summit of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) Council of Heads of State was held recently on November 10, 2020. The Meeting was chaired by Russia as it holds the SCO’s rotating presidency for 2019-2020.The Republic of Tajikistan assumed chairmanship of SCO for 2021-22.
- This was the first SCO Summit held in Virtual Format and third meeting that India participated after becoming a full member in 2017.
- The SCO member states intend to continue promoting practical collaboration in politics, security, trade and the economy, and cultural and humanitarian ties.
