100 years of All India Trade Union Congress

  • The All India Trade Union Congress (AITUC) was founded in31 October 1920 (100 years ago) at Bombay. AITUC is the oldest trade union federations in India.
  • It was established by Lala Lajpat Rai, Joseph Baptista, N. M. Joshi, Diwan Chaman Lall and a few others. Lala Lajpat Rai was the first President of AITUC.
