New T-cell Discovered: Universal Cancer Therapy in the Offing?
Researchers at Cardiff University (UK) recently made an important discovery: T-cells equipped with a new type of receptor (T-cell receptor or TCR) which recognises and kills most human cancer cells. It is significant as it holds the promise of heralding a new era of universal cancer therapy.
