On 31st October, 2023, the Prime Minister paid tributes to Sardar Patel on his Jayanti. The Rashtriya Ekta Diwas or National Unity Day is celebrated every year on 31st October to commemorate Sardar Patel’s birth anniversary.

In India’s Freedom Struggle
- Kheda Satyagraha (1917): Patel supported and assisted Mahatma Gandhi in organising and leading the Satyagraha.He provided strong leadership and direction to the local community, encouraging them to join the protest against the British-imposed unjustified tax on land revenue.
- Non-Cooperation Movement (1920-22): He recruited approximately 300,000 members and raised 1.5 million rupees for the Non-cooperation Movement. ....
