1. Nallur Tamarind Grove, in Devanahalli, Bengaluru, Karnataka

  • An area that once was a part of the Chola dynasty some 800 years ago has some of the oldest tamarind trees.

2. Hogrekan in Chikmagalur, Karnataka

  • This Shola vegetation (stunted tropical montane forest, interspersed by undulating grasslands) is home to a number of unique medicinal plants. Due to its proximity to Bhadra Wildlife Sanctuary and Yemmedode Tiger Reserve, it also serves as an important wildlife corridor.

3. University of Agricultural Sciences, GKVK Campus in Bengaluru, Karnataka

  • Considered one of the greenest areas in Bengaluru.

4. Ambaraguda in Shimoga, Karnataka
