Digital Public Infrastructure and Public Participation
- Recognizing the importance of collective approach as well as fair and inclusive economic growth, India is planning to create a 'Global Digital Public Infrastructure Repository' (GDPIR).
- GDPIR will act as a digital storage of 'Digital Public Infrastructure' (DPI).
- India has facilitated direct transfer of approximately Rs 32.29 trillion to beneficiaries through 313 flagship schemes in the world's largest digital 'Government to Person' (G2P) framework using DPI.
- Unified Payment Interface-Pay Now (UPI-Pay Now) connects India with 11 countries– including France, Singapore, Australia, Canada, Hong Kong, Oman, Qatar, US, Saudi Arabia, UAE, and UK.
