Water Tourism and Adventure Sports Policy
- The main objective of the approved policy is to develop water tourism facilities by utilizing the rivers, canals, lakes and reservoirs available in the state as UP is blesses with several prominent water bodies, including the Ganges, Yamuna, Sarayu and several man-made lakes and reservoirs.
- This policy will be valid for 10 years from the date notified by the government.
- It will be applicable to all inland land-based, air based and water routes, dames, reservoirs, lakes, rivers and ponds, and all adventure activities to be carried out on various water bodies and land parcels within the jurisdiction of Uttar Pradesh. ....
