Ambaji Marble
On 14th November 2025, Gujarat's Ambaji white marble was officially awarded the Geographical Indication (GI) tag, acknowledging its high-quality white stone.
- Ambaji marble is quarried in Ambaji town of Banaskantha district, Gujarat, a major pilgrimage site and Shaktipeeth.
- It is known for its pure white colour, exceptional shine, high calcium content and remarkable durability.
