Land Stack Initiative
On 8th May 2026, the Union Minister for Rural Development and Agriculture chaired a review meeting of the Land Stack Initiative.
- The Land Stack is envisaged as an integrated, GIS-based digital platform to provide single-window access to land and property information for both citizens and government agencies.
- It was launched by the Ministry of Rural Development.
- It was launched under the Digital India Land Record Modernisation Programme (DILRMP).
- It seeks to build an interoperable digital ecosystem for land governance, integrating various land-related databases.
