International Big Cat Alliance
On 9th April, 2023, a mega international event was held in Mysuru, Karnataka, to commemorate 50 years of Project Tiger. During the event, the Indian Prime Minister launched the International Big Cat Alliance (IBCA).

- Conserving the Planet's Seven Big Cats: IBCA aims to conserve the planet's seven big cats, namely: Tiger (IUCN Status: Endangered), Lion (Vulnerable), Leopard (Near threatened), Snow Leopard (Vulnerable), Cheetah (Vulnerable), Jaguar (Near threatened), and Puma (Near threatened).
