Annual Survey of Services Sector Enterprises
On 30th April 2025, the Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation (MoSPI) released findings from a pilot study conducted under the Annual Survey of Services Sector Enterprises (ASSSE).
Scope of the Pilot Study
The pilot survey covered service sector enterprises drawn from the GSTN database, specifically those registered under:
- Companies Act, 1956
- Companies Act, 2013
- Limited Liability Partnership (LLP) Act, 2008.
Key Findings
Ownership Structure
- A vast majority (82.4%) of the surveyed entities were Private Limited Companies, followed by Public Limited Companies and LLPs, each accounting for around 8%.
- This ownership pattern was consistent across major sectors—Construction, Trade, and Other Services.
