International Conference on Democracy and Election Management 2026

From 21-23 January 2026, the International Conference on Democracy and Election Management (IICDEM) 2026 was held in New Delhi, during which the Delhi Declaration 2026 was adopted.

  • As the first and largest conference of its kind, it witnessed participation from 42 Election Management Bodies (EMBs) and heads of mission from 27 countries.
  • It was organised by the India International Institute of Democracy and Election Management (IIIDEM) under the aegis of the Election Commission of India (ECI).

The Delhi Declaration
