Global Biodiversity Outlook
- The Global Biodiversity Outlook (GBO) is a periodic report that summarises the latest data on the status and trends of global biodiversity. It is the flagship publication of the Convention on Biological Diversity and summarises progress made towards achieving the objectives of the Convention, such as the Aichi Targets and identifies key actions to achieve these.
- The Outlook is prepared by the Secretariat of the Convention on Biological Diversity drawing on information from national biodiversity strategies and action plans, national reports submitted by the Parties to the Convention, scientific literature, scenarios, and biodiversity indicators.
