Australia’s Defence Space Command Agency
- Recently, Australia announced a new Defence Space Command Agency aimed at countering the growing influence of Russia and China in space.
- It was set up in January 2022 to help Australia achieve strategic space ambitions and lead the efforts to assure Australia’s access to space.
- It will engage in developing and advocating space-specific priorities within the government, industry, allies and even international partners.
