Brief Description of Mohiniyattam
- Origin: Mohiniyattam dance derives its name from the word ‘Mohini’, a female incarnation of Lord Vishnu. Its roots date back to the age-old Sanskrit Hindu text on performing arts called ‘Natya Shastra’.
