India’s First Avalanche Monitoring Radar
Recently, the Indian Army and the Defence Geoinformatics Research Establishment (DGRE) jointly installed the Avalanche Monitoring Radar, first of its kind in India, at an altitude of 15,000 feet in north Sikkim.
