Social Issues which Threaten National Security

The term National Security entails the security of a nation state which includes its citizens, economy and institutions. India being a young and diverse nation faces many threats from a number of sources both internal and external. The internal source of conflict that threatens unity and stability of India stems from lack of cultural and social intercourse between its diverse people leading to lack of sense of belonging and participation in the society.
