OneWeb to Establish First Satellite Network Portal Site in Gujarat
On 19th July, 2023, OneWeb India Communications signed an MoU with the Gujarat government to build India's first satellite network portal site in Mehsana, Gujarat.

- Satellite Network Portal Site: The site will serve as a signal and data downlink and uplink terminal, facilitating satellite communications through satellite tracking antenna systems.
- OneWeb's Investment and Job Creation: OneWeb plans to invest up to Rs 100 crore in the project, creating 500 direct and indirect jobs, including positions for telecom, electronics, and instrumentation engineers.
