Committee on Leveraging AI for identifying National Missions in Key Sectors

This committee was constituted by Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology (MeitY).

Key Recommendations

• National missions to be selected in each sector which vary from agriculture and food to water resources, environment, education, transportation, legal, finance, governance etc.
• For each mission, important technical tasks be identified for contests.
• Data available with ministries and departments be brought onto common platforms in well-defined formats.
• Finally, the AI grand challenges be posed as a challenge to catch the imagination of the nation.
