Ind-CEPI

The Ind-CEPI Mission was initiated in 2019, in partnership with the global foundation, the Coalition for Epidemic Preparedness Innovations (CEPI), for supporting vaccine development for potential outbreak threats up to Phase II testing and enhancing inter-ministerial co-ordination for rapid vaccine development.

• Ind-CEPI Mission aims to address not just the development of new vaccine candidates for outbreaks but also explore new ways of working to drive vaccine innovation to address public health threats like recent outbreaks – SARS, Ebola and Zika, Covid-19 in alignment with the WHO blueprint for R&D.
