On 27th October, 2021, the Ministry of Civil Aviation launched the Krishi UDAN 2.0 scheme to focus on transporting perishable food products from the hilly areas, northeastern states and tribal areas.
Objective
To transport agri-products to national as well as international destinations that will help in improving value realisation, especially in the Northeast and tribal districts.
