The Ministry Women and Child Development has promoted Self Help Groups (SHGs) under its project ‘Priyadarshini’ for Women Empowerment and Livelihood generation in Mid-Gangetic Plains.
Though the focus of the project ‘Priyadarshini’ is on livelihood enhancement, the beneficiaries will be empowered to address their political, legal, health problems issues through rigorous capacity building.
