SAGE – Senior care Aging Growth Engine

The Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment has launched an initiative known as SAGE – Seniorcare Aging Growth Engine on 4^th June 2021.

Aim: It aims to improve the quality of life of Senior Citizens by providing financial support to those startups that offer innovative products, solutions and services for the care of elderly.

The startups will be selected on the basis of innovative products and services to be developed across various sectors such as health, housing, care centers, financial technology, food and wealth management, and legal guidance.

• It will provide innovative technological solutions to the problems of elderly.
• Empowerment of elderly will reduce their dependence on other social and government institutions. It will mitigate the fiscal costs arising out of old age dependency.
• It will improve business opportunities for startups working in the field of elderly care.
