Sanskritization: It refers to a process in which the lower castes imitate and adopt the cultural patterns of the higher castes, to raise their status in the social hierarchical order.
Social Capital: It is the networks of relationships among people of a particular society, including trust, mutual understanding, shared values and behaviour that bind the members of the society together and facilitates cooperation among them.
Invisibilisation of Women’s Work: The tendency to ignore the physical and mental labour of a woman done for care and nourishment of ‘Home’, which is not counted as a part of economy or GDP.
Inequality: It refers to the degree of dispersion in the distribution of assets, income or consumption.
Continuum of Care: It involves an integrated system of care that guides and tracks patient over their lifetime providing comprehensive health services over their life. It involves preventive care, medical incidents, rehabilitation, and maintenance.
Rights-based Approach: It develops the capacity of the state to meet their obligations towards the under privileged sections and encourages these sections to claim their rights.
Social Deprivation: It refers to limited access to social and economic resources due to poverty, discrimination, or other disadvantages.
