Dr. Ambedkar Scheme for Social Integration through Inter-Caste Marriages

It was launched in 2013 by the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment to encourage inter-caste marriages in the society.

• An inter-caste marriage, for the purpose of this Scheme means a marriage in which one of the spouses belongs to Scheduled Caste and the other belongs to a Non-Scheduled Caste.
