Neeranchal – World Bank Assisted Watershed Management Programme

It is a centrally sponsored scheme launched by Ministry of Rural Development in 2016 and assisted by World Bank.

  • It aims at assisting Watershed development component of PMKSY via technical assistance to improve incremental conservation outcomes and agricultural yields for communities in selected sites. World Bank here is providing 50% of the sanctioned grant (357 million dollars) for the project.
