OBC sub-categorisation Commission
Recently, the Union Cabinet approved a six-month extension to the commission appointed to examine sub-categorisation of Other Backward Classes. The commission will now have till January 31, 2021 to submit its report
OBC Sub-Categorisation Commission
- Headed by retired Delhi High Court Chief Justice G. Rohini, the commission was appointed in October 2017 under article 340 of the Constitution to examine the issues of the sub-categorization of Other Backward Classes (OBCs) with the following terms of reference:
