QRSAM Tested Successfully
Recently, a second consecutive successful trial of the indigenously developed Quick Reaction Surface to Air Missile (QRSAM) was conducted by the DRDO, proving the performance parameters of the accuracy of missile system and capability of missile warhead.The successful tests have paved the way for induction of QRSAM Weapon Systems into the Indian Army by 2021.
- The weapons system elements have been manufactured through joint cooperation of public sector undertakings like Bharat Electronics Ltd, Bharat Dynamics Ltd and private player L&T.
