Protected Planet Report 2020: Equity and Effectiveness are Crucial Post-2020
Recently a report, titled ‘Protected Planet Report 2020’, was released by the United Nations. It assessed the progress the world has made towards the ambitious goals, known as Aichi Biodiversity Target 11, agreed to by countries in 2010 at the United Nations Convention on Biological Diversity.
The Report
- The 2020 edition provides the final report on the status of Aichi Biodiversity Target 11 and looks to the future as the world prepares to adopt a new post-2020 global biodiversity framework.
